How might we help customers find clothing in their size when they aren’t available at Stores?

Customer / Problem

The problem that many people don't find clothing that fits their body size perfectly. Clothing sizes are cut based on a few body sizes and shapes. This means that people with unique body sizes and shapes that fall outside of the narrow range are often left out and have to fit into their closest standard size and/or shape. This creates a further problem of waste as huge quantities of clothing have to be recycled yearly due to this reason.

What Is Your Solution?

Our solution to this is creating an app designed to customise the measurement and fitting of clothes. When a customer goes on to our platform, they are able to enter their exact measurements for the selected item of clothing. When this process is completed, the given information is sent to the manufacturer to create. Once the piece of clothing is finished, it is sent back to the store for the customer to pick up! This reduces the potential of being thrown out or recycled because of fitting issues.
